H.I.C.A.G is a consulting and advocacy organization.
We are committed to eliminating the large volume of individuals that forego medical care due to health care costs or lack of access.

One day I received a bill from one of my medical providers. It was so much that I literally blurted out impossible! This bill can't be accurate! My girlfriend was in the other room heard me, and said what is impossible? I began to explain my plight. Low and behold my dear friend took the bill out of my hand, began to tell me many customers don't understand:
A) how to read their explanation of benefits(EOB).
B) proceed to pay what they believe is owed.
C) they don’t realize they can call their insurance company for an explanation.
D) file a claim to have the bill reviewed as to weather or not it was billed in or out of network.

The blessing in this entire scenario was, Gina saw a great need to help me understand my EOBs, call my insurance, get assistance and ask questions about my bills. When I finally received all my medical providers’s bills, I either paid very little or nothing at all!
